Key Stage 3
Building the foundations, before they matter
Maths
Years 7 and 8
The foundations that everything later depends on: number, ratio and proportion, and the first steps into algebra. We close gaps early, before they turn into a dislike of the subject.

Science
Years 7 and 8

Physics
Years 9 to 11
The subject where confident students most often lose marks. We drill equation selection and rearrangement, units and significant figures, and the required practicals, until they are automatic.

Chemistry
Years 9 to 11
Moles and quantitative chemistry are where grades are won and lost. We build the calculation work from first principles, then layer on the organic and physical chemistry content.

Biology
Years 9 to 11
Biology rewards precision of language more than any other science. Sessions focus on using the right terms, structuring longer answers, and handling the maths that surprises students in data questions.

Computer Science
Years 9 to 11
Both halves of the course: the written theory paper, and the programming that many students find intimidating. Algorithms are taught by writing them, not by memorising them.

A-Level
Depth, precision and synoptic thinking
Biology
Years 12 and 13
The step up from GCSE is steep, particularly in biochemistry and statistics. Sessions are built around the synoptic thinking and essay discipline that the A-Level papers demand.

Session format
Group lesson, in person or online
The format matters less than the match. A student who needs the whole hour should have it; a student who thrives on discussion often does better in a group.
Group lesson
Students following the same specification at a similar level, working through a shared scheme of work. Lower cost per student, and explaining a method to a peer is one of the fastest ways to secure it.
Online or in person
In-person sessions run in Aylesbury area. Online sessions use a shared whiteboard and work equally well for most topics - many families mix the two across the year.
